When you--the soldier--redeploys home you may not yet realize what lies just ahead. After a well deserved homecoming celebration, the revisiting with your family and friends as well as your return or transition to civilian employment, you may experience "problems" even after your decompression training. An inability to connect with others, have unwanted daytime memories or feelings of still constantly being on “alert” can begin to surface 6-12 months after a service member's return home. Avoidant behavior compounds a lack of care which can otherwise be provided by connection to community. Fear of stopping your career progression may prevent you from seeking help from the resources of your military unit. But, in themselves problems sleeping,

trouble with concentration and memory, possible substance abuse and symptoms of depression and anxiety can indirectly effect your MOS or civilian job functioning. We offer you a safe, confidential program to exploring the reintegration back into a happy, healthy productive professional and personal life.

 

We certainly to do not profess that the theatrical arts or our Return to Honor Program will resolve all your post-war issues. However, we welcome you to attend any public performance of PIECES OF WAR and listen to post-show conservations between your comrades-in-arms, friends and the members of your community. Then you can determine if our experiential workshops and training programs are right for you.
