After a night performing "PIECES OF WAR" I always receive heartfelt letters from friends and families of loved ones lost, still deployed or somehow changed and emotional inaccessible. Often I hear from the soldiers directly.
Though grief and recovery are very private matters, often speaking your own truth about your personal story or that of a soldier-friend can help to process what is difficult to put into words.
As always, the names and events remain confidential, but if you desire then your stories can be rewritten in dramatic verse, weaved into our evolving narrative and then relayed to future audiences.
