With a Master of Arts in Holistic Counseling from Salve Regina University Kenny Carnes’ portfolio of workshops, programs and coaching practices were designed under the direction of the pioneering faculty of the cutting-edge program providing real world Holistic Leadership in order to co-create global transformation.
As a facilitator of change Carnes employs techniques using Choice Theory1, Psychosynthesis2, Gestalt Therapy3, Narrative Therapy4, Psychodrama5 and role play. His programs help participants develop personal and professional growth, orchestrate creative solutions to dynamic social problems and build collective, responsible leadership for tomorrow. By custom designing a program to meet your needs we partner to achieve better results for your people, your organization and your community. Example programs include:
[1] Choice Theory was developed by William Glasser M.D. at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. “Choice Theory, A New Psychology of Personal Freedom,” Glasser, W. 1998. [2] Psychosynthesis was developed by Roberto Assagioli, M.D. as one of the earliest forerunners of both humanistic psychology and transpersonal psychology. “Psychosynthesis” Assagioli, R. 1965. [3] Gestalt Therapy was developed by Fritz Perls in the 1940’s as an existential/phenomenological approach to achieving human potential in context of an organic relationship to the environment. 4. Narrative Therapy is a post modern social constructionist technique developed by Jill Freedman and Gene Combs in order to functionalize dysfunctional groups and used often in Family Therapy. 1996. 5. Psychodrama is a form of drama therapy which explores, through action, the problems of people. It is a group working method, in which each person becomes a therapeutic agent for others in the psychodrama group. Developed by psychologist Jacob L. Moreno in the 1960’s, psychodrama has strong elements of theater, often conducted on a stage with props.
